My monthly (The Zoo at Dunes) has come back around for November the 15th 2008. Usually it is on the second Saturday of each month, but because of the short extra week we were bumped to the third Saturday this time.

Guests for this month are PDX staple DJ Ronn-e, and a tag team set from Project Harmony duo Mi’ka and Kala. I will be starting the night off as usual, trying to warm the room up for my guest DJs.

Ronn-e has been one of my favorite DJs in Portland for a long time. He always has great music and brings an energy to the room like no one else. I am guilty as changed for stealing more then a few tracks he painstakingly dug up for my own sets. Thank you Ronn-e!

Mi’ka and Kala are fairly new to town, but not new to DJing. They are very cool people who are passionate about their contribution to the underground music scene. I am excited to hear them play, and hang out with them at the show.

On a side note, next month’s December 13th Zoo night will be hosted by my friend DJ Phi, since I will be away on vacation. DJ lineup tba.
